Who Are We?

Strategic Insurance Partners is an independent insurance agency, located in Lexington, Kentucky. While our founders, Micah Plotts and Tyler Pruden, combine for over 20 years of insurance experience, they come from very different backgrounds and provide very different skill sets. Micah entered into the insurance profession immediately after graduating from the University of Kentucky and has spent his entire career focusing on commercial lines insurance. Tyler spent several years in secondary and post-secondary education before discovering his passion to help others through personal lines insurance consulting.

We strive to set ourselves apart from the rest of the insurance world. As an independent agency we have large broker capabilities, with personal local service and support. We are a full service agency with the ability to write all lines of insurance.

We believe that our modern approach separates us from the traditional insurance agenies that we complete against everyday. Our entire team heavily focuses on the progression of their individual insurance knowledge base, in order to best serve our clients. Additionally, our insurance professionals have completed advanced training in coverage, risk solutions, and service using modern agency technology. Each team member specializes in unique areas of insurance. As a result, as an agency, we often utilize a team approach to ensure that our clients are getting the best protection and suppport that have the ability to offer.
